"So lately.... Been wondering..... Who will be there to take my place...."

Lately I've been obsessed with slow songs. I'm not really sure why, but they've managed to pop up on my playlist more often than anything else these past few days. I might be catching the romantic fever that seems to be raging up here (don't worry I'm not planning on getting married any time soon) or maybe it's just the Fall getting to me. Whatever it is, I've been in the mood for a good slow dance. There's always something about slow dancing that just makes you feel happy and content. If it's a good one, that is. I'm sure we've all had our fair share of awkward and painful slow dances. I'm talking about the slow dances that are to your favorite song, with that certain person, the ones that you just don't want to end. Ever. Anyway, I decided to indulge my romantic side for a bit and make a list of my favorite slow songs of all time. So here you are:

Brontë's Top Ten Slow Songs:

1. Wherever You Will Go - The Calling
2. Hanging By A Moment - Lifehouse
3. Collide - Howie Day
4. You And Me - Lifehouse
5. Chasing Cars - Snow Patrol
6. Just A Kiss - Lady Antebellum
7. Broken - Lifehouse
8. This Time - Jonathan Rhys Meyers (from August Rush)
9. Over My Head (Cable Car) - The Fray
10. Your Call - Secondhand Serenade

So feel free to look them up and enjoy. Or not. If you want you can laugh at me and my silly little romantic daydreams. Love you all!

Also, tragedy of the week: Riley Nelson cut his hair. I'm quite sad about it, although I suppose it couldn't have been avoided given the Honor Code. It was rather attractive hair. I thought so anyway.
Okay I'm really done now, I promise.

Love, Brontë

  1. I'm particularly fond of your number four choice... and number eight. And three. Okay, I like them all :)

Funny thing about Riley's hair... There was this petition going around talking about not letting Delilah cut Samson's hair. I guess that makes ol' Papa Bear of mine Delilah ;)
