Two nights ago I was going to the library (which is basically my third home after the HFAC and my apartment) cause I'm in college and apparently they give us homework. Weird right?
So I'm on my way up to the door and there's this *really* attractive guy walking out. He's already completely out of the library and I'm about two steps from the door. He saw me and turned back around and got the door for me!! I'm pretty sure I swooned a little.Chivalry is attractive.
Now, this probably seems like a really small thing BUT it's nice to know that there are still gentlemen left in the world. Especially attractive gentlemen that will go out of their way to get the door for a girl. Especially when that girl looks like stressed-out death.
So, attractive mystery gentleman, keep up the good work. And maybe let's get married.
Anyway, it's been FOREVER since I blogged last (okay, more like a month but still...) and I realized that I really do miss it. So here's a quick list of significant events/goings on of the past month:
-Gracie turned 9! Baby sister is growing up.
-I voted! Like a good citizen. Go America.
-I worked at the last, MISERABLE home football game of the season. It was absolutely freezing.
-I spent more time in the library than should ever be allowed.
-I saw Holiday (the current play at BYU) Go see it it's really good!
-I had exactly $3.42 in my checking account for two weeks. Being a grown up is hard.
-I got letters from some of my favorite missionaries!
-10 million girls I know got their mission calls! Super exciting!
-Some of my friends got engaged! I feel old.
-The new Les Miserables International trailer came out.
-It snowed.
-I went two whole weeks without getting J-Dawgs.
Actually I broke that streak today, because I finished 3 papers in the library today so I rewarded myself with J-Dawgs. The fact that I live like 30 seconds away from that place is going to make me fat and poor.
Anyway, I have a J-Dawgs problem. I absolutely love it, but for some weird reason I've never actually been able to finish a whole J-Dawg. I get down to like the last two bites and for some reason I just can't finish it. And I can eat quite a lot when I'm hungry. But for some weird reason I can't ever bring myself to eat those last two bites. I have a mental J-Dawgs block. Is that even real? I don't know. Anyway, now one of my New Year's Resolutions for next year is to be able to finish a whole J-Dawg.
Shooting for the stars, I know.
Love, Brontë
This is absolute brilliance on so many levels. I love it.
