It was during a Lord of the Rings Marathon. We spent 15 straight hours together, packed tightly on two tiny couches, new friend bonding at it's finest. I think that's where the manflesh jokes that the guys all hated so much started.
Remember when Ethan, Allen, Scott and Tanner taught us the Thriller dance?
And then we all did it at every stake dance we went to. In fact, I don't think we missed a single dance our whole senior year.
Remember the Parkour Club and the Juggling Club and Model UN and Todd Smith Tuesday?
I'm pretty sure we were in every single club picture in the yearbook that year.
Remember Mr. PHS?
Allen in his "birthday suit", Lauren and Scott's Eagle Powers, the awkward date auction and how we hit on random people in cars on our way to Wendy's afterward.
Remember when we took a tour of BYU even though we're all from Provo?
We took a billion pictures and joked about stealing the little golf carts.
Remember the time Scott and Lauren stole my car and moved it?
I was super confused because they put the keys back in my backpack and I was wandering around the parking lot for 15 minutes semi-panicking because I swore I parked it on the east side.
Remember all the parties we had at Kyla's house?
Junk food and catch phrase and sort of scary movies and ping pong and laughing so hard we cried.
Remember Pride and Prejudice and Jimmer?
We had a blast making it even though we're all super embarrassed to watch it now. And Lauren and I accidentally lost 3 of Ethan's shirts.... Oops.
Remember the CCC?
We probably spent more time in there than we did in class senior year. And it must have worked, because we all got into the colleges we wanted.
Remember Homecoming and Prom and the Halloween Dance and Sweethearts?
We played Just Dance for hours and watched The Office and joked that our sparkling cider was champagne and wore crazy costumes and danced our faces off, of course.
Remember Graduation, the Senior Dinner Dance and the All-night Party?
Lauren, Louisa and Libby spoke and we all threw bouncy balls and gave Mr. Ray a jelly bean when we shook his hand. And then we ate way too much pizza and watched a magic show and got home at four in the morning. And there was that super hot DJ.
Remember how some of us sort of dated each other for a little while until we decided that just being friends would be better?
It took some time to get over the awkwardness but we still came out friends and that's the important thing.
Remember when we all went to college, and all of a sudden we could stay up as late as we wanted with no parental supervision?
We played grown up, put off our homework, made new friends, had dance parties, pulled all-nighters and drank more Jamba Juice than should be allowed. And we missed our friends that went to SUU, USU, UVU and Dixie.

The guys stopped caring if their apartment was clean by about the third week, and we didn't really care either. We mostly hung out in the lobby anyway.
Remember how we would all have dinner at the Cannon?
Lex and I had meal plans and we'd all go together and eat and eat and eat.
Remember the Festival of Colors?
It took us an hour to drive there and we had to walk 2 miles to actually get to the temple and all of our pictures got photo bombed and Allen surfed the crowd and we got accidental mouthfuls of chalk and it was a great day.

Remember when every other college but BYU was on spring break?
Scott and Kelci came up from SUU and Dixie and hung out with us and we went to Night at the HFAC with most of the old gang plus Allen's little brother. We took model pictures of Ethan and Allen had his long 70's style hair.
Remember when we went stargazing in front of Carroll Hall?
We had those two huge blankets and stayed until 5 in the morning, all just laying there and talking and falling asleep and being best friends all over again.

Ethan and Allen literally picked me up off the floor and listened to all my worries and heartaches, and then Ethan and Brad wrote me a cheer up song to the tune of "You are my Sunshine."
Remember when all the guys got their mission calls to Cape Verde, Ft. Worth Texas, Panama, Houston Texas and South Dakota?
All of us girls cried together later because we knew how much we would miss them. And we do.
Remember how one by one they left on their missions last summer and how all of us girls were at every single farewell?
It was amazing to see the incredible faith and spiritual strength each of them have. We all felt so blessed to have such great guys as our friends. We wouldn't have missed those farewells for the world.
Remember how there were good times and great times and a few rough times in between but we all managed to pull through and still stay best friends?
Because I do.
