Lately I've been realizing how truly blessed I am. I have so many things to be grateful for, and I don't recognize it nearly as much as I should. I'm trying to get better at that.
These are some things I'm especially grateful at the moment:
- My roommates. I got so incredibly lucky this year in the roommate department. I get to live with some of my best friends from high school, as well as two other amazing girls who I also consider some of my best friends. So Lauren, Louisa, Alexis, Andi and Michelle, just know that I love you. Thanks for being there for me when I needed you and for being patient with me when I forgot to do my dishes. I couldn't have asked for better roommates and friends.
- All of the Mask Club productions I've had the opportunity to participate in this semester. I've been able to make some wonderful friends and have amazing experiences while doing something I love. What more could I ask for?
- My wonderful family. They all do so much for me, and I know I take them for granted sometimes. But I seriously don't know what I would do without them. They are always there for me, and they support me in all I do. I love them with all of my heart.
- The new missionary email rule. Because I got a wonderful, happy surprise this morning in my inbox and I haven't been able to stop smiling since.
- My friends. Especially the ones who picked me up when I was down and who listened to me when I was sad and upset and who stuck by me through everything. You know who you are. And you are the best, most amazing friends ever.
- My job. The fact that I have one, and I really enjoy where I work. Everyone there is so kind and generous. Plus they're really great about my crazy school and rehearsal schedule.
- My Savior. I have so much gratitude for Him and all He did for me that I can't even begin express it in a little blog post. He is my Redeemer, my brother, teacher and best friend. He knows me better than anyone else. I know He lives and that He loves me. And I am so grateful for that knowledge.
