Becoming a World Traveller: London Town

If you fall behind, you're left behind

I spent my Fourth of July in London. They didn't celebrate. Not that I expected them to, but the American Girl in me would have liked some fireworks. But alas, barbeques and sparklers were not to be had. I'm definitely not complaining though, because it was a fabulous but crazy day.

We left our home base of Cardiff at 5am and made the 3 hour drive to London. I pretty much slept the whole way there which turned out to be a really smart idea because we hit London hard. I swear we sprinted all around that city to see everything. And since a picture is worth a thousand words, here's my London Photo Dump:

London is such an awesome city, but I have to say my favorite part was going to see Macbeth at the Globe Theater. The show was AMAZING and to make it even better, BILLY BOYD who plays Pippin in Lord of the Rings was in it! We were groundlings, and so we were standing right up against the stage and it took everything in me to not reach out and touch his boot as he walked by. It was definitely a crazy day, we didn't get back to Cardiff until 3am and I fell asleep standing up at one point. But it was all definitely worth it.

Love, Brontë
