Happy Thanksgiving! I hope you're all enjoying your Thanksgiving Day and eating as much as you possibly can. I know I will. It's also that time of year where we reflect on everything that we're grateful for. I've been thinking a lot about what I'm grateful for the last few days and I'd like to share some of them with you.
I am Thankful for:
1. My Savior and all that He did for me.
2. The restored gospel and the fact that I have it in my life.
3. The Book of Mormon
4. Temples, and especially the fact that I live so close to multiple temples.
5. Missionaries, especially now that a lot of my close friends are going out to serve the Lord. I'm so grateful for them and their service.
6. My parents and all that they have done and continue to do for me.
7. My siblings and their amazing examples, as well as all the fun times we have together.
8. My extended family and the friendships and love I have with them.
9. The Plan of Salvation. It gives me so much comfort and hope in hard times.
10. A merciful Father in Heaven who allowed me to come here and make all kinds of mistakes, but still loves me no matter what.
11. My education. I am so grateful that I am able to attend a University as wonderful as BYU, and I'm so grateful for all I've learned there so far.
12. My best friend Lauren. She has been there with me through thick and thin, and is always there when I need her.
13. My many wonderful friends. I don't know what I would do without all of you.
14. The freedom that comes from living in this wonderful country, and all of the servicemen who have given their lives so we could retain that freedom.
15. My health, and the fact that I am able to do all that I need to without any physical restraints.
16. Sunshine
17. Books. I love to read, and books have been my constant companions throughout my life.
18. Music. There is beauty to be found in every kind of music and I am so grateful to have it.
19. My amazing roommate Ellie. She has saved me from multiple mental breakdowns and puts up with me when I hog the mirror in the morning.
20. Cars
21. The pioneers and their amazing sacrifices that allow me to be where I am today.
22. My job
23. Cell phones
24. My bed
25. Ice cream
26. My imagination. It has saved me from boredom more times than I can count.
27. My computer
28. Blankets
29. Sunsets
30. Google
31. Good movies
32. Softball
33. The gym. Lauren and Alexis, you know what I mean.
34. Washing machines and dryers. I love modern technology.
35. Indoor plumbing
There are a ton more things on this list, but it would take me forever to list them all, and I'm sure you would get tired of reading them. I hope you all have a wonderful and safe Thanksgiving, and remember what you're thankful for.
