A Losing Battle

Friday, October 14, 2011

I am currently fighting a losing battle. It's called Homework. For some reason in college you actually have to be responsible and do your homework. Weird, I know. It's like I'm grown up or something. Anyway, to give you an idea of what I'm up against I took a picture:

(Just for your information, that's my pile of homework for Physical Science, Geography, Writing, and Book of Mormon that's all due next week.)

Horrendous isn't it? This pile of books and papers is slowly eating away at my life. It's also the reason that I'm home on a Friday night pounding out a 10 page Geography paper instead of having fun like a normal college student. Yes, it's nights like these that I feel like giving up college and living in a cardboard box for the rest of my life. At least then I wouldn't have to care about the Molecular Model of the Atom and other horrible things like that. But alas, here I am on a Friday night..... In my dorm room........ Alone...... Reading about the Periodic Table......... With only Jon Schmidt's piano melodies to keep me company (although admittedly it's not bad company). Dear everyone who's been through college, It's worth it right?

Love, Brontë

P.S. Since this post is mostly me being whiny I thought I'd share a nubby moment from my week to lighten it up. Once upon a time on Tuesday Brontë went to devotional with two cute boys from her Book of Mormon class who happened to be twins (fraternal). After devotional they were wandering around cause Twin #1 and Brontë didn't have class for another few hours. (Twin #2 did have class). Anyway, Brontë and Twin #1 are talking about majors and he tells her what he wants to major in and she very brilliantly asks if he and his twin are majoring in the same thing. He gives her a funny look and says no, Twin #2 is majoring in something else. OBVIOUSLY Brontë they wouldn't be majoring in the same thing twins are different people too. And then Brontë felt like a Nub. The end. I hope you enjoyed your pointless story for the day.
