The term "horse" is relative in this case
The Uffington White Horse. Ever heard of it? I hadn't either, but basically it is a huge chalk horse on top of a hill that dates back to the stone age. It's pretty sweet.

I didn't actually take this picture, but it should give you the general idea. |
I did take this one though. |
Down the hill a little ways, there was another chalk spot where St. George supposedly slew the dragon.
We also went to Oxford which is a gorgeous city, and we got to see the Eagle & Child, which is where J.R.R. Tolkien and C.S. Lewis would go to discuss their books and ideas. We also went to Evensong at the gorgeous cathedral there. It was really cool to experience a religious service that is different from my own and to notice the similarities and differences in our beliefs.
That's actually one of my favorite parts of being on this Study Abroad. I get to learn and experience things that are brand new to me and that I would never have even known about if I hadn't come. This has been an amazing opportunity and I wouldn't trade it for the world!
Love, Brontë
